The lunch at the Training Table was small, but satisfying. I had the chili cheese dog. MMmm...
OK, I promised a lunch in Utah county for this week. Kurskorahn suggested Tuesday or Thursday. I'm thinking Thursday would be better, to give us enough time to arrive at consensus.
I was also contemplating Wallaby's in Lindon. I love that place. I don't know how the rest of you UC people feel about that though. Is it too far North? Also, I heard they had closed and reopened, so now I'm nervous. If someone could drive by there and see if they are still open, that would be cool.
Or we could come up with another idea, but I don't know how it would be better than pulled pork and cheesy garlic potatoes.
What say you all?

Thursday is the better day for me! And that is a very handy location. I've not been to Wallaby's before and would like to try it out.
There's my .02. Wait, I'm arrogant, let's make that .05 instead. ;)

I'm up for anywhere - easy to please and more interested in the social aspect than the food itself. Thursday is still wide open for me. Let's just make sure that they are indeed open before planning anything.

Sounds good to me. I will drive by on my way to work in the morning. It'd be great if Paul would come in from Heber . . .
I will return & report.
Are we on? I want to do a trip to Utah county, and it might as well be Thursday. I will need an address, as I am not familure with much of Utah county. At least not in the last 35 years.
alas
Walleby's is open - at least it was at 6:30 pm, so I think we can plan on it. Please confirm. Thanks!
OK, lets do it.
Tomorrow at noon at Wallaby's. Here's directions. http://www.wallabys.biz/directions.aspx
I expect everyone to bring a friend. See you there.
I am new to the NOM community. In fact I was just referred to the sight by John Dehlin a few weeks ago and haven't even had a chance to post anything on it yet. I live in Teton County Wyoming but happen to be driving to Southern Utah tomorrow and would like to stop by if it is OK. I probably wouldn't be there until 12:30 or 12:45 but don't wait. I would just like to meet everyone even if I don't have time to eat.

Kevin,
You are welcome, of course. We might be a bit smaller group tomorrow, but there will be at least 4 or 5 of us.
We've not yet come up with a good way for strangers to meet anonymously. But let's try this. I'll bring Triple Combination and have it visibly displayed. Wander around and find us.
Looking forward to seeing you.
I must be making progress - for a minute I'm sitting here thinking, "Triple Combination? Is that some kind of mixed drink. . . ? OH! I got it - scriptures!" C-ya tomorrow!
I am hoping to make it.

That manager was a really nice guy, but a little lacking in social skills - always waiting till we were mid conversation to chime in about his cinnamon rolls.
Great food and even better conversation. Let's keep this going.

No kidding, K. That guy was getting on my nerves. Especially when he interrupted the entire table to tell a very lame joke.
I will be sending him a nasty letter telling him to mind the kitchen and let me eat in peace.
Still looking for suggestions for next week in Davis County. If you REALLY can't get the blog comments to work, you can drop me an email at nom.d.cypher@gmail.com
Love ya.
Mean it.
After the next week in Davis, can we come back to SLC?

Yes. I'm going to suggest PB&J at your house. Sound good?
That sounds excellent ~ we wouldn't have to worry about "commercial" interruptions . . . iykwim?
Great to see many of you again and to meet Dave, Kevin & Sean/Shawn/Shaun ~ Thanks for making the effort. It's great to know we are not alone particularly in the lone and dreary wilderness of Happy Valley.

Works for me.

Triple combination. I think we can work on that one, eh K8? ;)
Sorry everyone. I told Thayne I was going to be unable to make it due to extenuating circumstances. To make up for it, I promise to drive up to Ogden if anyone wants to go with me.
I want to go to the Prairie Schooner restaurant! The last time I was there was the night OJ Simpson was being pursued by a bunch of cops on the freeway. That was quite a long time ago, I'd like to see it again without feeling glued to a tv screen.
Frog
Oooo . . . I might be able to take you up on that offer for a ride.
- Dan (Kurskorahn)
Sooo . . . what's the story? No lunch in honor of Conference?
