Lunch today was just about perfect. Lets do it again.
Like this week, I would like to throw out some ideas, hear lots of comments and make a final decision a day or two before lunch.
Since Kurskorahn mentioned next Friday (the 28th), let's go with that. Until someone comes up with a better idea, I'll suggest the Training Table out by the E Center.
A few thoughts about future meetings.
I'd like to make the lunches frequent enough so that we won't feel so awful if we miss one. If that happens, then I'm guessing we will average about 8 people at each lunch, which makes it a LOT easier to find a venue that is cheap and in many cases doesn't require reservations. We can do a bigger party when someone we all know and love comes to town. (I'm looking at you, Dathon)
I'm not anxious to expand to dinners or to Davis or Utah county, since I think that is territory that is already covered by the CALM folks. Nevertheless, Dianne tends to disagree, so I suppose we could consider it.
I used a whole lot of first person in the previous paragraph. Tell me what you think. About next week, and the weeks after that.

Bah! Utah County does need some love. At least another one in southern Sandy/Draper.
Friday would be great.
If the idea is to bring up someone from YBU, why not make it a bit closer to the south end of the valley?
Oh, you silly Utah county nerds. I'll take care of you next week. I think K said he was coming up on Friday anyway. I suppose I could move this week to the south end of the valley, but last week was also South-ish.
I hope you are all telling all your friends about these lunches. We'll never be able to split off a Provo group until we get a bigger list.

I'm leaving town and won't be here this Friday. I do think next week should be in Utah county. I would recommend La Vigna or Cafe Rio, both are in AF.

Mmmm, Training Table. I think I should be able to make it, if DW's medical mini-emergency is resolved by then.
In order to accommodate the greatest number of people, I think we should push this lunch back to 1:00 on Friday. Still at Training Table. Torrenn, is that late enough to help you? If not, we'll keep you in mind for a later lunch.
Before the whining starts, let me hint that next weeks lunch will be in Utah county somewhere, and the week after that is up for grabs to whichever of you is the most assertive.

Depending on how well my Dr. appt goes tomorrow morning, I might make it up for the lunch. Dont count on me though! Next week I'll be at Disneyland >.> but the week after that I can do a friday or saturday lunch. I really prefer Saturday though. Can we do that week (the 14th/15th?) or do people want to go hiking? hehe
