I promised several people that we would do a lunch north of Salt Lake. That was supposed to happen this week, but things didn't work out that way... So I'm starting a little earlier this week, and hoping for the best.
Here are my thoughts so far. Miss Frog has suggested the Prairie Schooner restaurant in Ogden. I think that might be a little too far north, but I might be wrong. What do you folks up north think?
As far as dates go, I was thinking next Tuesday or Wednesday, the 15th or 16th.
I really need lots of input from you folks on this one. Alas? GypsyD? Let's hear your thoughts.

I have been having trouble with posting here, so here goes.
My vote would be to have it further south so that the people from that direction don't have to go quite so far. But then, I don't really know who is actually in Ogden or further north.
15th isn't good for me, as I have a birthday lunch and a dr apt. But so far, I think I am free on the 16th. Things have been a little hectic lately.
Still having problems with this site and I don't know if it is my computer or what.

There is obviously a login problem with the blog. I think that the reason that I don't have troubles is that I am always logged into gmail or some other google product, so it already knows who I am. If you have a google ID, try logging in first and see if that helps.
I really want to see Alas, so lets take the 15th off the schedule. It's either the Wednesday or later.
Also, someone suggested a place in Layton, but I've forgotten what it was. Post it again and we can fight it out.
I don't know this area well enough at all for restaurants. Let me reach out to Chad for suggestions and see if he can join us.

The only way I can get in here is anonymous. It just tells me my password is incorrect, no matter which version of my password I use. It sometimes seems to accept the pass word, but tells me to type in the test letters correctly, and then repeat proceedure and then repeat proceedrue. I have tried to sign up again, and it tells me I can't because I am already here, then tells me my password is already in use. I also can't make it do anything with openID or Name/URL. And sometimes it tells me I can't be anonymous either.
So, I will just sign my name at the bottom.
I don't remember the name of the Irish place I mentioned a week ago. I can go find it out by driving past or ask DH. It is fun and has food that isn't what everyone else has. It is on Antelope Drive in Layton, so should be easy for out of towners to find.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it regardless, since I'll have visitors in town from far, far away. But I hope to make the next one!
Let's wrap up the details on this one.
I think we should go to Mimi's because it's easier to find, and because it would make Torrenn happy. (and we've had good luck at Mimi's before).
